First, THANK YOU to everyone who has been reading these posts and who has subscribed! In the past thirty days, subscriptions (both free and paid) are up 30% AND I hit over 3,400 reads on one post for the first time. We are slowly building an army of citizens who wish to understand more about government corruption playbooks and the specific movement to stop tollroads from decimating our area.
I appreciate you signing up to get these posts delivered directly to your inbox and I encourage you to keep sharing these posts so I can reach as many people as possible.
I’m sure you’ve figured out that some of these posts are longer reads with tons of receipts and meaty details (like yesterday’s post on the City of Norman’s City Staff Conflicts-of-Interest and the demand for a surrender resolution), and some are short promoting an upcoming event or pointing you to an important resource.
Both serve different purposes.
Today’s post is a short one pointing you toward some powerful anti-toll road documentaries. Whether you are a newcomer to the fight, or have been around since Day 1, I really think you will find these documentaries enlightening. Enjoy!
William Mollina spent more than a decade telling the story of how Texas took on numerous toll roads, including the proposed Trans Texas Corridor (TTC).
He won numerous film festival awards by capturing the essence of the grassroots movements all over Texas pleading with lawmakers to stop some of the largest eminent domain takings of private property in the history of the United States.
I dare you to watch these without getting chills and tearing up from the passionate citizens fighting to protect their private property.
I also predict you will find yourself shaking your head at the ludicrous talking points these SOB’s use.
Because you’ve heard it all before - right here in good old Oklahoma with the useful idiots promoting the ACCESS Oklahoma program.
The arrogance of the transportation planners and elected officials proposing these toll roads is exactly what we experienced and are experiencing in Oklahoma. They share the SAME playbook.
Please watch these Truth Be Tolled documentaries when you have a chance. You will be so much better prepared to continue our fight here once you see how similar the arena is.
PIKE OFF OTA Documentary
PIKE OFF OTA has been working on a documentary for the past two years and we recently hired THE William Mollina of Truth Be Tolled to bring it over the finish line through his compelling storytelling with his deep understanding of the toll road mafia. We anticipate screening our first documentary film in October of this year. We hope you will join us.
PIKE OFF OTA (501 c4) and Oklahomans for Responsible Transportation, Foundation (501 c3) are leading the charge in legal injunctive avenues and legislative reform and they could use your help. They are trying to dismantle a corrupt Goliath within our state and are doing a great job. Be part of the solution!
